If you're reading this, it probably means you have been totally nagged to death by me to do so, that all you're interested in the paranormal and by the 750/1 chance you strolled onto this page! Which by all means I won't be complaining about.
RPDR (Rob Phillips & Dan Reed) Ghost Investigation was founded at the start of June, and officially named on the ninth of June.
Most shows these day heavily rely on all sorts of technology, and crew. Thermal cameras, EV monitors, electric fields. etc etc.
Truth is, if we were actually able to afford all this stuff, we'd probably use it, though we can't so we'll just say we don't want to, because I can't see a ghost wanting to pop out with about 10 people with giant mics, and cameras roaming around.
So, as an altenative to this, we set out on our own mission, just two people. With one (possibly 2 if mine gets fixed) cam-corders.
We're based in Plymouth (England) so obviously do most of our work round there, until we get the motivation or recognition to venture out of the area. I think I'll go into detail about the team now.
Rob Phillips:
Age: 26
D.O.B: 21 Febuary
Occupation: Security guard.
Rob pratically does a whole variety of different things, Electronics, Martial arts, cooking, and photography, which means he has a juicy collection of camera tools and applications. Which makes it alot more effective when trying to catch ghosts. He is the RPDR driver, and reviews most of the footage captured.
Dan Reed
Age: 20
D.O.B: 2nd March
Occupation: Store worker.
Dan is the vain one. Simply put, he is rarely seen without his hair Gelled/waxed/puttied etc. He has been making an attempt at ghost hunting for years now, mostly to no avail. He has tried many other projects such as, making his own movies, podcasts, and blogs. (As it stands only the podcast is still in focus!). He's in charge of writing this very blog! And editing the footage, (ooo production!).
So that's it, really. I'll keep you posted with our future findings and plans, we made our first tester today at Wembury church, in the cemetry. We were only there for about 10 minutes though, (rookie error of taking the wimpy girlfriend). Which I'll get round to in a later blog, but currently it's almost 2AM, and I'm pretty tired from a day of mostly doing nothing.
Much Love
Dan
